Abstract

The musical illustration as a methodology inside the Music class in Primary Education is the main idea of this article. With this purpose, first the steps are established to carry out such a methodology: verbal encouragement, text-music association and sound response. Second, proposals are made for both teachers (long-term goals) and students (concrete goals to guide them). Third, typologies of illustrative textual elements are established. This article also gives examples of illustrated elements, such as enumerations of possible illustrative textual elements. Finally there is a distribution of work in order to carry out the final music illustration.
