Resum

This article outlines the arguments in favour of an integrated curriculum rather than a linear model which juxtaposes different disciplines arbitrarily. A model is presented for the design and development of integrated teaching units based on a holistic and dynamic conception of knowledge as an educational response to the challenges facing schools to attend diversity. This model has been tested in different Primary and Secondary institutions with satisfactory results.
