Abstract
Among the professional skills that students in the Grade of Early Childhood Education should acquire would be that ofpromoting interest in and respect for the natural, social and cultural environment through didactic proposals. To thisend, in the context of this degree, a didactic experience was designed so that future Early Childhood Education teacherscould elaborate a very specific resource, an environmental tale. As a result of the implementation, twenty stories on en-vironmental issues were obtained, which brought the recipients closer to problems and solutions of the natural environ-ment close to the students themselves. Likewise, these environmental tales allowed us to work on some sub-competencesrelated to reading comprehension with the children.
