Zusammenfassung
The aim of this study was to analyse the teaching activities proposed by some third year students of the Grade in EarlyChildhood Education. The proposals were to be based on the seven dimensional model of Cabello, España and Blanco(2016), in order to initiate the development of food competence in 4/5 year olds. It is a documentary analysis with amainly quantitative treatment. While it is true that all students assimilated that food competence was a key aspect that isbuilt up over a lifetime, the results revealed some didactic knowledge that stills need to be improved as future teachers.
