Abstract
The present paper is intended as a set of suggestions and criteria for the development of a task-based curriculum. In the first section a theoretical grounding accompanied by a methodological framework is offered, followed in the remaining sections by a table of learning strategies for L2 and an analysis of the different components involved in the notion of task. Finally, a check-list for task evaluation is offered.
