Throughout her academic career, she has made significant contributions to research and social knowledge transfer, publishing seven peer-reviewed journal articles, including three in top-tier JCR-indexed journals. Additionally, she has authored 16 book chapters, ten of which have been published in highly ranked editorial houses. Her research extends beyond publications, having participated in nearly 50 research and science communication projects, leading ten of them, including the first and only project in Spain funded by FECYT to investigate scientific communication strategies. Her work has also been recognized through participation in over 30 national and international conferences, both as a speaker and presenter. Additionally, she contributes as a peer reviewer for academic journals such as Revista Eureka and Prisma and is an active member of two research groups: Journalism and Social Communication and Temporal R&D Laboratory. As an educator, she has been teaching at UMU since 2013, accumulating over 2,000 hours of experience across various courses related to her field. She is committed to continuous pedagogical innovation and actively participates in teaching enhancement programs. Her dedication to science communication has been widely recognized with multiple awards. She received a Special Mention at the II Odsesionad@s Awards (2022) for her role as a thesis advisor and has been honored with multiple Science in Action prizes. In 2022, she won first prize for the television project LaboratoriUM and a shared first prize for the short film Gastrociencia. Additionally, her MasterChem project, which adapted a popular TV format to make chemistry more engaging for the public, received an Honorable Mention (2020) and was named the top-rated science education initiative (2019) by FECYT. Her contributions have also been recognized internationally, including at the #LabMeCrazy Film Festival, where Gastrociencia won the Audience Award in 2021.
