Full Professor in the Department of Management and Finance at the University of Murcia. He obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management (2001) at the University of Murcia and BA (Honours) Accounting and Finance in Europe (2001) at Manchester Metropolitan University. He then completed a Master’s degree in Foreign Trade Management (2002) at the ENAE business school. He obtained his PhD and European Doctorate (2006) at the University of Murcia, with Extraordinary awaard and also National award of the Spanish Association of Academic and Professional Marketing (AEMARK). His research has been mainly linked to innovation and new technologies, making important contributions in the field of launching new products to the market and the design of innovative business models. He has been principal investigator and member of numerous international, national and regional projects. He has published more than fifty research articles in JCR journals and more than ninety communications in national and international congresses, he has three six-year research periods and one six-year transfer period. His work has been published in several prestigious journals such as Harvard Business Review, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Information Management, Information & Management or Telematics and Informatics. He has also spent several periods at research centres such as Delft University of Technology (2005) and Michigan State University (2008).
