Abstract

Sewage outfalls are a potential source of marine pollution. This work tries to discern if there are any effects on fishassemblages produce by the sewage outfall of Cala Reona (Murcia, Spain). Shifts detected are mainly characterized byincreases in the populations of some planktivorous species. However, we consider necessary make continuous monitoringto control the seasonal variability which could be disguising the effects over the rest of the fish community.
