Resumen
El Barranco de la Hoz (Lorca, Murcia), is an area of great natural wealth that was occupied by human groups during prehistoric times. Proof of their existence lies in the findings encountered in numerous points of interest within the site, which are ascribed to different stages of Paleolithic and post-Paleolithic periods. The study of the lithic materials found concludes that the area presents a great archaeological importance that will help to provide a deeper understanding about the hunter-gatherer societies of the southwest Iberian Peninsula.
