Resumo

It is advisable to apply a strict cleaning and disinfection protocol, both inside the fattening house and outside. These two actions complement each other and manage to reduce the burden of existing pathogens in the ships. Subsequently, triage, temperature and water control, and proper management and treatment of sick animals will have to be carried out.
