Resumo

During 2013 the Centre for Training and Professional Development (CFDP) atthe University of Murcia has joined a new training category called “COMpetences forPAS”, Administration and Services Staff, (COMPAS), meant to train this group inspecific skills related to their tasks, in this case, those working in the differentuniversity departments.This work has been developed in seven phases, where the PAS of theUniversity of Murcia have been trained with the cooperation of experts andprofessionals from different areas that interact with their job. Subsequently, thetrained staff have been responsible of other colleagues’ training interested inprofessional skills to improve their task.Finally, we may highlight an implication of almost half the group of theadministrative departments and an interest in continuing to work on the same way inseven out of ten participants. In addition, the activity is assessed by them asadequate / very adequate for more than 77% of the participants
