ing needs of updating and upgrading their professional career, offering projectsto improve Centres or Faculties, as well as methodological changes adapted to thecurrent context.The Centre for Training and Professional Development (CFDP) has beenworking on a new approach called “Centre Training” for Teaching and Research Staff(PDI) who work at University of Murcia since 2012. One important aspect of thistraining is the cross-curricular selected topics which are common to all professors,looking after the distinctive features of each field of study and trying to bring trainingto their workplace.This paper consists of explaining this type of training, its different stages andthe agents involved in them, the topics carried out during 2012/2013, as well as theresults and conclusions of this experience
