Abstract

This proposal uses Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) when it comes to put value in educational itineraries, in this case the Route of the Windmills of Fuente Álamo de Murcia. Route published by the Ministry of Education, Science and Researching of the Region of Murcia (2008), organized and conceived, at the time, to be worked with students from a point of view understood as traditional, that is, with a theoretical -expositive, which required the obvious displacement and, therefore, visit in situ. With this new proposal it reaches an interesting transformation process by incorporating the Virtual Reality (RV) in its design. It is developed a methodology that implements a new space in teaching, since it is going to have an effective and free procedure to design and bring to the classroom a didactic itinerary through the use of the RV. For this, InstaVR is used, an application that is not specifically designed for using as a tool for teaching purposes, however, it will be oriented so that we can create our own VR360 guide, with contributions that will complement the ultimate goal: catch the interest of our students, in our case by the milling facilities of an area of the Campo de Cartagena (Region of Murcia). The presentation of this experience will allow us to be transferred to other sceneries that bring the interested party closer to our technological and industrial heritage in a more affordable and, above all, comfortable, attractive and innovative way for the users, in our case our students
