Resumen

This opinion study was based substantially on creative self-perception that students of Primary Educa-tion Grade. The main objective was conducting a diagnostic report of the perception they have about both creativity and their innovative training, to know their preconceived ideas and their creative self-ef-ficiency levels they give to themselves. The sampling was of 671 students of five different academic courses surveyed at the beginning of their first artistic subject in the named degree. The methodology was based on a quantitative paradigm, using an objective test of typic and individualefficiency sort of Likert, formed by five dimensions: context, self-perception, perception of creativity, creative knowledge, and training. Datums were statistically analysed, and they show a student’s per-ception of a lack of creative formation. Similarly, they offer a progressive increase of negativity about their creative self-perception, just as high insecurity to deal with problem resolutions creatively. Results reveal the necessity of teaching methodologies that integrate clear focuses to develop creativity and self-awareness of the creative process for students of whole levels.
