Abstract

Health is one of the most important topics in society as well as of great concern to it. Its significance is such that physical education is subject to it. Currently, there is a sense of awareness for the need to adopt a healthy lifestyle, and one part of that would be the practice of physical activity or sport. The proposal made in this article is the application of the methodology to use Cardio Combat in high school, particularly for students in the third year of Spanish Compulsory Secondary Education in order to propose new, motivating activities in which the student ends up preparing his/her own choreography. The aim is that while the students work on content and reach objectives of physical education (Education Law 2/2006), they will also create habits of practice for this type of physical activity.
