Efecto de la duración del estiramiento pasivo sobre la musculatura isquiosura

Resumen

El objetivo principal fue comparar la eficacia de diferentes duraciones de estiramientos pasivos para aumentar el rango de movimiento (ROM) de la flexión de cadera en adultos jóvenes deportistas recreativos. Un total de 74 participantes fueron distribuidos aleatoriamente en 4 grupos; 1 grupo control y 3 grupos experimentales. La duración (12x15 segundos, 6x30 segundos o 4x45 segundos) fue el parámetro de la carga de entrenamiento objeto de estudio. Todos los grupos experimentales realizaron la misma carga de entrenamiento con un tiempo total de estiramiento de 180 segundos por sesión, una frecuencia de 3 días a la semana, a lo largo de 12 semanas. El ROM de la flexión de cadera fue medido a través del test pasivo de elevación de la pierna recta. Se observaron mejoras significativas en todos los grupos experimentales (p<0.01), aunque no se encontraron diferencias significativas cuando se compararon las diferentes duraciones de estiramiento (p<0.01).
