Abstract
This work is oriented to facilitate the imminent adoption of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Knowledge and attitudes towards EHEA of university teachers are evaluated. Based on a diagnosis of the current situation a research model is proposed. The aim of the model is helping to choose the actions for adoption more useful. Model is validated through a survey to 423 docents belonging to three Spanish universities.
