Zusammenfassung

Background: Bullying and school violence is one of the most important problems in schools. The role of teachers in detection and prevention of this problem has not been enough investigated. Method: The sample was 99 teachers of 28 high schools in Murcia (Spain). We investigated attitudes and opinion of teachers about bullying. Results: Teachers are worried about bullying, but they don’t use usually good prevention or intervention strategies. Conclusions: The paper of teachers in prevention of bullying must be reinforced.
