Desarrollo y validación de un instrumento de medida de las estrategias motivacionales empleadas en las clases de Educación Física

Resumen

Este estudio analiza la validez de constructo, validez predictiva y la fiabilidad de un instrumento para medir las estrategias motivacionales en las clases de educación física, basándonos en el modelo de intervención motivacional propuesto por Ames (1992). Se calcularon análisis factoriales (exploratorios y confirmatorios) y correlaciones simples en dos estudios con más de 1000 alumnos de enseñanza secundaria en clases de educación física. Los resultados muestran que el instrumento consta de validez de constructo, fiabilidad y también validez predictiva, pues hemos encontrado, que las estrategias motivacionales orientadas a la maestría se relacionan con la orientación a la tarea y con la creencia de que la motivación y el esfuerzo son las causas de éxito en las clases de educación física. También se encontró que las estrategias motivacionales orientadas al rendimiento se ha relacionado con la creencia de que la posesión de mayor habilidad normativa y el engaño, son causas de éxito en las clases de educación física.
