Kaoutar Bakdid Albane is a graduate in Social Work from the University of Murcia (2021) with a Master in Community Social Work, Management and Evaluation of Social Services from the Complutense University of Madrid (2022) and current PhD student in the PhD program “Society, Development and Labor Relations” with a predoctoral contract of University Teacher Training (FPU) at the University of Murcia. Her research interests include racism, institutional racism, polarization and public opinion analysis. She obtained the Extraordinary End of Degree Award 2021 and the Social Council Award for Academic Excellence, academic year 2020-2021 in the branch of Social and Legal Sciences. Experience as a trainer in the COCO project (Against Everyday Hate) working on issues related to racism, hate messages and hate crimes, etc., as well as a teacher in the course of socio-educational care for children in situations of social vulnerability organized by the Columbares Association. Involved in the strategy “Cartagena Libre de Rumores” of the City Council of Cartagena since 2017 as well as in “Vallecas Antirumores ”with the Provivienda Association during the course 2021/2022, having participated in various trainings and annual summits with Antirumores strategies of other Spanish and foreign cities.
