With the acquisition in 2019 by the City Council of Murcia of the BIC of El Castillejo de Monteagudo, work beganon the comprehensive management of the monument and its surroundings. In this sense, steps have been takentowards its enhancement: an initial diagnosis of its state of conservation afer its purchase that has led to thedrafing of a Master Plan and a frst restoration intervention in the lower enclosure of the building
