Abstract

This paper studies the characteristics of the Financial Action Task Force,undoubtedly the most successful international forum during the recent years in the fight againstmoney laundering. After the description of the relevant structure and operation elements, wepresent a discussion about the decision-making procedure ans its consequences for thecompliance of the organization’s objectives.
