Resumen

Abstract: Since the first record in the Iberian Peninsula in autumn 2022, in the province of Cádiz, Eublemma baccatrixHacker, 2019 (Lepidoptera: Erebidae) has been repeatedly recorded from different localities in that province. In thepresent paper, faunistic information on seventeen additional specimens found in three new localities, two in the provinceof Málaga and one in the province of Murcia, is added. E. baccatrix could be a recurrent immigrant species from NorthAfrica, a rapidly expanding species along the Mediterranean coastal area of the southern Iberian Peninsula or bothcircumstances at the same time.
