Abstract

Within a research project, four sampling sessions were carried out in the years 2020 and 2021 in the surroundings of Els Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park, resulting in the record of 168 species of Macrohererocera, of wich 30 are cited for the first time from the Natural park , 10 for Alt Empordà and 4 for Comarques Gironines; furthermore , 17 of them represent the second and therefore consolidate their presence in the Park. Likewise, an extensive bibliographic review has been carried out that has led to the preparation of an updated catalogue of the Macroheterocera, with a total of 327 species recorded in Els Aiguamolls de l'Empordà Natural Park to date.
