In this work we present the historical-archaeological study carried out in several buildings located in different parts of the Region of Murcia, dating from modern and contemporary ages. These works have been developed responding to the following motivations: areas affected by infrastructure construction works; works for conservation, security, habitability and ornament; and the valorization of this type of heritage assets. In all cases, the guidelines developed have been in the first step an exhaustive historical documentation and, finally, the constructive analysis and its architectural evolution from the perspective of the Archeology of Architecture. These studies make it possible to determine the importance of these assets at the heritage level and, therefore, their conservation or not. In some cases they have been carried out to be thoroughly analyzed before their necessary demolition.
