Resumen

The protection of personal data is an area that has undergone signifcantregulatory development in the last few years, driven by the approval ofRegulation (EU) 2016/679, which led to the enactment of the law currently inforce on the matter: the Organic Law 3/2018, December 5. In themanagement of an educational centre, both in the purely administrative andpedagogical aspects, a large volume of personal data of special sensitivity ishandled. With citizens increasingly aware of their rights in the feld of dataprotection, situations arise in which alleged violations of such rights arereported and the intervention of the educational inspection becomesnecessary, either in the feld of advice or to make injunctions or reports withproposals in the disciplinary sphere.Revista This article presents a practical case of a real situation of a citizen's requestfor advice, resulting ultimately in the need to make an inspection report, witha series of advice and request proposals
