Aproximación provincial a la inversión en I+D de las empresas españolas

Resumen

Este estudio analiza la inversión en investigación y desarrollo (I+D) en las distintas provincias españolas, utilizando para ello información extraída de la base de datos SABI. Se realiza una clasificación de provincias basada en dos indicadores: la inversión en I+D por empleado y la inversión en I+D por facturación. Estos indicadores permiten evaluar de manera eficiente y efectiva cómo se está destinando la inversión en investigación y desarrollo, así como el esfuerzo que las empresas están realizando en I+D en relación con sus ingresos de explotación. A su vez, esta clasificación permite detectar los sectores estratégicos dentro del territorio español. Los resultados revelan diferencias significativas en la inversión en I+D entre provincias y se destacan sectores como las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), la industria farmacéutica y química, la industria agroalimentaria y la industria de fabricación y maquinaria.
