Abstract
The archaeological project called "Phase 0" started its journey in 2018 thanks to a collaborationagreement between the University of Murcia and the City Council of Murcia, which was focused towardsthe research of a part of the Andalusi suburb of Arrixaca’s archaeological remains; as well as managingthe obtained data from an interdisciplinary perspective. The project focused on the excavation of variousareas: the building called "oratory", the maqbara and two large buildings (buildings I and II), that standout for their location and size within the old medieval urban fabric. In turn, during field work, a wholeprogram of dissemination and training was designed. To this end, activities were organized that includedthe visit to the site itself, while excavation work was in progress, and the dissemination of the findings viasocial media. At the same time, we also addressed the consolidation of the unearthed archaeologicalstructures with protection measures and the use of analysis techniques to prepare the most appropriatematerials for them, subsequently evaluating their degree of effectiveness and incidence.
