Resumen

Hoy en día, la transformación digital (TD) y el desarrollo sostenible han afectado al mundo empresarial, pues ambos fenómenos se consideran no solo claves para la supervivencia de las empresas, sino también una fuente de ventaja competitiva. Este estudio ofrece una panorámica actual de las empresas industriales españolas en materia de Transformación digital (TD) y sostenibilidad. Concretamente, se destaca la importancia de la TD, y se confirma su estrecha asociación con las estrategias medioambientales y las innovaciones verdes. Además, también se identifican los aspectos en los que sobresalen las empresas y aquellos que deben mejorar, y se enfatiza que las empresas se encuentran en la dirección correcta. Finalmente, se proporcionan una serie de recomendaciones para guiar a las empresas en su misión de incorporar de forma efectiva la TD en sus iniciativas de sostenibilidad ambiental
