Although the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) do not explicitly mention Digital Competencies (DC), they can be considered cross-cutting for several of them, such as 4 (Quality education), 5 (Gender equality), 8 (Decent work and economic growth), 9 (Industry, innovation and infrastructure), 10 (Reducing inequalities) or 17 (Partnerships to achieve the goals); in this sense, the DCs are key tools for promoting sustainable development and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs, as they allow access to information, citizen participation, innovation, education or monitoring of the proposed goals, among others. . The objective of this teaching proposal is the realization of extracurricular workshops, using the UMU Teaching Innovation Lab, in which, with different types of dynamics, the importance of the CDs in the framework of the SDGs is highlighted, both for their achievement and for their knowledge. Thus, ChatGPT is used for students to research on the cross-cutting nature of DC for the SDGs; information is provided on how to measure the level of DC, with the methodology of the European Union (EU) - based on the DSI 2.0 indicator developed by Eurostat -; students self-assess their level of DC, using the EU application Test your digital skills; the quantitative and qualitative information generated is collected and analyzed. The results that can be evaluated so far show that students welcome this activity very satisfactorily.
