Zusammenfassung

The coronavirus pandemic has brought about a drastic change in our way of living and especially of communicating. In this article we are going to try to explain what its influence may have been in the way of carrying out communication in electoral campaigns in our country. In fact, five have been held to date in times of pandemic, but we will emphasize the penultimate, the electoral process for the Assembly of the Community of Madrid, held on May 4, 2021. For this we will analyze electoral propaganda, message and networks and we will try to discover to what extent the COVID may or may not have become a main protagonist in campaign political communication.
