Abstract

The aim of this study was to show if it is possible to carry out a program of oral and dental health care, for children at pre-school age involving parents, teachers and the active par- ticipation of the children. A longitudinal study of two groups of children between the ages of four and six was carried out: an experimental group of 99, and a control group of 101 chil- dren. The knowledge of dental health care in both groups was assessed, when the experiment group had undergone the pro- gram.
