Resumen

El COVID-19 ha causado la mayor disrupción en las operaciones de las empresas tanto en términos de sus cadenas de suministro como en su demanda. Este trabajo estudiua cómo la configuración de las cadenas de suministro, resultantes de decisiones previas de offshoring y rershoring, ha influido en la resiliencia de las empresas en esta sitiuación. El análisis está aplicado al sector del calzado español y nos permite desarrollar futuros escenarios en los cuales la reconfiguración de las cadenas de valor y el uso de tecnologías avanzadas tienen un papel fundamental. Para ello, utilizamos la metodología de planificación de escenarios combinada con modelos analíticos para offshoring. Se obtiene que los procesos de reshoring motivados por la crisis de 2008 han sido fundamentales para fortalecer la resiliencia de las empresas ante la crisis del COVID-19, así como la incorporación de las nuevas tecnologías.
