Abstract

Digital competence is part of the curriculum of compulsory education as one of theeight competencies to be developed by students in Elementary and SecondarySchool. Many Universities presents the need to develop skills related to ICT in theirstudents. This fact is important enough to rethink the degrees and studies of ourgraduates, and focus efforts on promoting the development of digital competence inour universitary students.This paper presents a study made at the subject “media and ICT”, in early childhoodeducation degree. After using ICT in the classroom with different methodologies, ourintention was to know if students felt they have improved their digital competence,finding that, in many cases, they found a very useful training, not only as students,but as future teachers
