Resumo

The development of new technological products and services focused on the Internet ofThings, Industry 4.0, are increasingly transforming life and the way organizations work.The pandemic of COVID 19, showed us both the potential of the digital world, as wellas the existing digital divide worldwide. This theoretical research aims to analyze thecurrent context of cybersecurity in organizations and the challenges associated with the use of Information Technology (IT) that affect the competitiveness of organizationsin the face of cybercrime risks prevailing in the digital context of the object of study.This study adopts the explanatory documentary approach, as an aspect of organizationalprocess improvement. As a result, aspects that mitigate the risk and benefits associatedwith innovation and IT infrastructure in organizations related to SDG # 9 are identified.
