Abstract

Median raphe cysts of the perineum are uncommoncongenital lesions. Congenital lesions rarely encounteredin daily clinical practice. Their diagnosis in childhood isparticularly rare. We report two children with these cystsrequiring surgical removal. We review the embryological, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of these cysts, whichcould be of interest to pediatricians and pediatric surgeonswhen faced with this pathology in children.
