Estudio de las consecuencias de la diversidad cultural en espacios de encuentro pluricultural

Zusammenfassung

The present work develops a linguistic approach to the field of Intercultural Relations. In a first theoretical part, we offer a categorization of the factors that can be crucial to the nature of a give multicultural encounter, highlighting the important factor of the perception of cultural diversity. Moreover, we complete this theoretical exposition with the proposal of an analytical model designed for the discursive analysis of the representation of other cultural groups on the part of the members of a given cultural community. This work tries to answer the need of not only contributing with knowledge about the consequences of a social encounter among cultural groups, but also proposes an analytical model that allows that such theories can be applied to the practical field, and, after this application, get a kind of information that is relevant for both the identification and the solution of problems within an intergroup encounter situation.
