Résumé
This study provides 19 new records of bats (UTM squares of 10 x10 km) in addition to those already included in the Atlas y Libro Rojo de los Mamíferos Terrestres de España. The records were obtained between 2010 and 2011 in the town of Villalgordo del Júcar and its surroundings (northern part of the Albacete province and southern part of the Cuenca province). We have identified and located at least 12 bats species. Our results represent an important contribution to the knowledge of the bat fauna in Castilla-La Mancha. It is necessary to increase the knowledge of this group in Castilla-La Mancha to develop conservation and management measures for their species.
