Abstract
The aim of the current study is based on the evaluation of empathy, impulsiveness and emotional intelligence in an offender’s sample. These factors could be considered as predictors of pro-social behaviour and aggressive conducts, being one of the biggest aims examine the relationship between those and the kind of offence committed in order to promote and improve the treatment programmes inside prisons. It has been evaluated 56 men who are voluntarily participated to get the data through three inventories: TECA, CTI and BIS-11. There was no significant difference in emotional intelligence, but we found that clinical implications of empathy and impulsiveness should be considered in order to study the treatment programme applicability for each offence committed.
