Résumé

The factors that explain the school failure are the lack of knowledge, cognitive skills, interest, motivation and positive affects, so the high number of school failures is due to negative attitudes. Taking this into account, that Physical Education influences the development of a more favorable attitude toward school and that motivation is an important aspect in the continuity of any activity, we must know those aspects that increase the motivation of our students favoring continuity in the education system. However, numerous studies indicate that attitudes towards Physical Education worsen as the age of the student advances. For all the above, the objective of this paper is to know the attitudes of students in the second section of primary education and secondary education and compare them according to the educational stage of the students. For this, a sample of students aged between 8 and 17 years was used. It was concluded that the attitudes of the students towards Physical Education are good in general terms, in both age ranges, and that as the age advances, the attitudes towards Physical Education are worse.
