Resumen

Students’ employability has joined the set of objectives universities around the world are expected to fulfill. Therefore, programming for the development of skills and competences has become necessary, and part of professors’ responsibilities. A combination of on-going evaluation systems and selected specific activities help professors plan for the accomplishment of this objective. The study shows students identify activities as both adequate for and effective in competences development. Conclusions are that the inclusion of competences development in course programming is a helpful, useful tool for course management that is well accepted and valued by students.
