On October 17, 2019, an emotional tribute to Professor Juan Torres Fontes, historian,professor and academic, organized by the Royal Academy Alfonso X el Sabio, took place inthe Assembly Hall of the Murcia House of Culture, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.In the act participated María Teresa Marín Torres, elected academic and director of theSalzillo Museum; María Ángeles Jover Carrión, former director of the Archive of the MurciaCity Council; Ángel Luis Molina Molina, academic of the Royal Alfonso X el Sabio and FullProfessor of Medieval History at the University of Murcia, and Cristina Torres-Fontes Suárez,PhD in Art History, Full Professor at the University of Murcia and daughter of the professorTorres Fontes, under the presidency of the director of the Royal Academy Juan GonzálezCastaño. Murgetanareproduces the texts of the interventions in such a tribute.
