Zusammenfassung

The occurrence of an injury in sports has wide-ranging effects on the athlete. It is unrealistic to expect all injuries to be preventable. The first step sequence of prevention is to identify the magnitude of the problem and describes in terms of incidence and severity of sport injuries. Variations in definitions and methodologies have created differences on the results and conclusions obtained from studies of inline hockey injuries. The aim of this study was to review data on incidence of injury and determine the incidence of injury in inline hockey. The injury rate of injury in games was higher than practices. Important methodological differences exist between studies when defining the injury and calculating the level of incidence of injuries inline hockey. This fact makes it difficult to determine the magnitude of the problem of injuries in line hockey, as well as the comparison with other sports. A consensus should be carried out to unify injury definition and methodological issues when carrying out studies on injuries and their incidence in line hockey.
