Abstract
Act of playing is one of the most interesting subjects for people involved in teaching activity. The amount of possibilities and capabilities through this task that can be developed, both in children and adults, are varied. The gamebased learning may constitute a method of educational intervention for innovation. Child's play is an activity of mental and physical development capable of promoting a comprehensive and progressive evolution of child. Through games, children get contact with the world and have a range of pleasant and enjoyable experiences. Play not only responds to purely recreational aspects. This action promotes the discovery, surprise, creativity, emotional maturity, research, etc. Which means the development of all concerns, dreams and fantasies, that children need to achieve to become healthy adults. If we apply to teaching practices methodologies that combine playful with mediation of the plastic and visual languages, will come to a greater awareness of leisure and artistic needs present in the educational training.
