Abstract

We understand creativity as a highly valuable and necessary tool to face the vital challenges that take part in different contexts (academic, family, social and business). We think that the school must take part in this and educate a creative thinking. The aim of this article is to suggest a method that would provide creativity development from selfidentity. The didactic sequence that we have chosen, the boat trip metaphor, is the reflection of how we could use creativity in the educational field in order to promote creative development on the other as being different, unique and creator of its sameness. The activity won’t start from the teacher, but from the student, that is, from the other. This didactic sequence, not only recognizes the student as the captain of the boat, as protagonist and autonomous being, but it also takes into account the vehicle (as a resource) and the environment (context).
