Abstract
In this paper we analyse the characteristics of Spanish firms joined in 2016 to LBG, as a voluntary framework for disclosing non financial information about local development. This initiative establishes an homogeneous methodology to disclose information about investments in the development of the community. We develop a database from disclosure published by LBG Spain from 2012 to 2015. From the main characteristics of these firms we check that the majority of this investment is linked to the industry, and according to this disclosure, that the non monetary investment in local development and the areas of action, are influenced by the industry in which the firms operate.
