Abstract

he present study analyses the relationship between intelligence and creativity, as well as with personality. 132 Psychology students of the University of Murcia participated in the study. Instruments used were the Test of Creative Intelligence CREA (Corbalán, Martinez, Donolo, Alonso, Tejerina, Arreal and Limiñana, 2003), g-Factor Test (Cattell and Cattell, 1973) and the questionnaires of personality CEP of Pinillos (1957) and Big Five BFQ of Caprara, Barbaranelli and Borgogni (1993). We raised theoretical considerations, talked about previous studies, described the research and show the most significant results. Correlations and significant differences of mean between measurements of creativity, as well as certain dimensions and subdimensions of personality were observed. However, no correlations between creativity and intelligence were found. Results are discussed based on theoretical perspective and previous studies.
