Instrumentos jurídicos para la erradicación de la violencia de género en España y sus bases constitucionales

Resumo

Equality between women and men is a fundamental value enshrined in the Spanish Constitution of 1978 and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union . This paper aims to describe the different legal instruments articulated by the Spanish State to eradicate gender violence , based on their constitutional grounds , and analyzing the effectiveness thereof, paying particular attention to the " National Strategy for the Eradication of violence against Women 2013-2016 " , approved by the Spanish government as a guiding principle of the policies , in compliance with the Constitution and laws ,develop the various public authorities in the field of their respective responsibilities for gender
