Abstract
An osteocollagenous paraprostatic cyst is described in a 8 years oId German shepherd presented with an hystory of abdominal dis- tension, constipation and dysuria of one wcek's duration. It is arare prostatic lesion consisting of .a large cyst with a wall composed of bone and connective tissue. Its clinical diagnosis is carried out by abdominal and rectal palpation, centesis and diagnostic imaging techniques however, the ultrasonographic appearance of this type of cyst is not well documented. Although the etiology is unknown, surgical removal provides good results.
