Abstract
Although essential immunisation takes place in childhood, other vaccinations in adulthood should not be forgotten, such as tetanus boosters, and the flu, pneumococcal and papilloma virus vaccines. Moreover, when a person intends to travel to a particular area, they should find out the infections that can be prevented through vaccination, such as yellow fever, typhoid and rabies. Advice about vaccination will always be tailored to the individual and their particular circumstances.
